To make Amish brussels sprouts you will need just four simple ingredients. Here is your short shopping list: fresh brussels sprouts, butter, onion and sour cream. The brussels sprouts are boiled, steamed, roasted or baked until tender. Butter is melted in a skillet and onions are cooked until soft and beginning to brown. Once they begin to brown, the heat is turned off and sour cream is stirred in. Add a little salt and pepper and this brussels sprouts side dish is ready to be served.
