1. How does 30Seconds work?

30Seconds allows you to follow contributors across categories to enjoy articles, tips, recipes and more. Each tip is created by experts or passionistas in order to inspire and be inspired. 

You can review the contributors then if you want to follow someone, simply click follow. If you want to un-follow, simply un-click follow.

2. Where does the content come from?

Content on 30Seconds is created by our contributors.

3. How many contributors can I follow?

You may follow as many contributors as you like. The more contributors you follow, the more content you will receive in the email summaries we send out a few times each week.

4. How do comments work?

If you would like to leave a comment on an article, tip or recipe, you first need to create an account on 30Seconds. After you have created an account, you can follow contributors and leave comments on site content.

5. How does the like button work?

The like button is a great way to show that you really like a piece of content. If you want to like an article, tip or recipe, you first need to create an account on 30Seconds. After you have created an account, you can like site content.


6. How do the social icons work?

30Seconds is tied into Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest. If you have a Twitter account and are logged in, then when you click on the tweet button, a pre-loaded tweet will appear for you to consider tweeting through your Twitter account. If you’re not logged in to Twitter, then when you click on the tweet button, a window will appear prompting you to login to Twitter – and then you’re ready to tweet. A Twitter account is required in order to tweet a tip. 

If you have a Facebook or Pinterest account and are logged in, then when you click on the Facebook or Pinterest icons, you will be prompted to share to Facebook or Pinterest. If you are not logged in, a window will appear prompting you to login before you can share.

7. How can I submit a tip of my own?

We invite you to submit your own tip or recipe for consideration to 30Seconds. After you have created an account on the site, simply click the "Submit a Tip" link in the upper right hand corner of the site and a box will appear where you can input the information. If we choose to publish your tip, we’ll email you! Consider filling out your profile information before you submit your tip so we know who you are.

8. What is the profile information for?

 After you've created an account on the site, you can fill out your profile information. You can share things like your name and a brief bio so people know a bit about you. This personalization is an added benefit, but not a requirement, of 30Seconds. We value your privacy. For information about how we protect your privacy, please see our Privacy Policy, found via a link at the bottom of the site.

9. What if I want to change my password?

Changing your password is easy. Simply go to the settings under your profile and click change password.

10. How can a company work with 30Seconds?
