How to Make a Charcuterie Board: The Secret to a Beautiful Charcuterie Tray

My husband and I love putting a snack platter together when we have friends over, but I've never been able to make one beautiful. So last week when I wanted to try again I enlisted a friend who can make any food look incredible. She told me to have a variety of things on the charcuterie board like vegetables, olives, dried fruit, nuts, chocolate, dips like hummus or spinach dip, grainy mustard and jam (we like fig).

Then add meats, cheeses and crackers to fill it up. The different colors, textures and sizes make the tray more beautiful. I added a little too much so I ended up adding a few smaller plates as well. Garnish with some fresh herbs for the final touch. Using a photo helps to make your next charcuterie tray extra special!

Absolutely stunning, Jan Mostrom ! Who needs dinner when you have a charcuterie board like this one?! Especially when you pair it with your hearty homemade bread. I love marcona almonds on mine. So good!
