Recipe Notes

  • Be sure to use a food processor for this recipe, not a blender.
  • Use regular chocolate chips or dairy-free chocolate chips – they're both delish!
  • The bars may look a bit under-cooked when you take them out of the oven, but they firm up as they cool – you don’t want them to get too hard.
  • Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Here's how to make them:

  1. Blend all ingredients except chips in a food processor (not a blender) until very smooth. Mix in chips.
  2. Scoop into a greased or aluminum foil-lined 8×8-inch pan. Sprinkle top with some additional chocolate chips, if desired.
  3. Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 25 to 30 minutes. They might look a little under-cooked when you take them out of the oven, but don't worry, they'll firm up as they cool.
