Thank you for sharing your story, Elisa A. Schmitz 30Seconds ! I am getting my first shot Thursday, and it's nice reading someone else's experience going through it. Hope you're feeling better!

Thank you so much, Donna John ! It was definitely worth it, and I am feeling better every day. I am so glad you're getting your shot on Thursday. Keep me posted on how it goes. I know you will do great! See the light at the end of the tunnel? It's beautiful! Dieter Schmitz

Good luck! Hope you get Johnson and Johnson so only have to feel sick once

Nope, getting Moderna. But you had to take what they give you. My mom got her second shot today, and so far is feeling fine. She got Moderna, too. Fingers crossed. Mike Prochaska

I've been trying to get an appointment but no luck yet. Hopefully President Biden's deadline for getting everyone access to the vaccine will happen. We need to get this pandemic behind us.
Mike Prochaska
Glad you survived the hunger game to get an appointment! I had moderina one and both shocks kicked my butt. The second one way worse than the first one. Took me an entire week to feel better. My wife felt like nothing after both her shots ! Very glad it over! Soon you have your vaccine passport though!
Elisa Schmitz
Thank you for sharing your experience, Mike Prochaska ! We got the Pfizer vaccine, which is pretty similar to Moderna, I think. It's good to know you also had some pretty intense side effects. Interesting about your wife, glad she didn't have any. I'm still really tired and not myself, four days out. Hopefully each day, it will get better. So worth it! I am concerned about the second shot, though. Thanks for the heads up. Stay well!

What a beautiful story Elisa A. Schmitz 30Seconds! It almost seems like I was there ... oh, I was. Now, did I get the shot in my right arm or my left arm?!? 😷
Elisa Schmitz
Haha, very funny, Dieter Schmitz . Guess who's making soup for me tonight? Thank you! Mike Prochaska Donna John , that is such great news about your mom! I hope she feels great, no side effects. My parents got both doses of the Pfizer, with no side effects at all. Older people have fewer, I have read. Great news for our parents!
Mike Prochaska
Yeah my parents too with Pfizer

Thanks for sharing your story. I agree they are medical MVPs for sure. I received my first shot, Moderna, with minimal pain in my arm. As an educator our district had a clinic in our schools. It was very easy for me. As you know I have a rare kidney disease which put me at risk. I have been working from home since March. It’s been challenging but worth my health. As soon as I am fully vaccinated I will be returning to in person at school. I can't wait to be back to some kind of normal. Yes this is a dangerous virus that doesn’t care who it hurts. Young and old. So I agree. Say YES to the shot! Be well my friend.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Mindy Hudon, M.S., CCC-SLP ! I am all about the shots, even with a few side effects. I can only imagine what COVID would do to me, so much worse. Please take care of you. Sending hugs and love, my friend! xoxo

Thank you for sharing your story, Elisa A. Schmitz 30Seconds! I pray for you to feel better everyday. I was also very impressed with Rush University Medical Center. I was lucky with very few side effects from vaccine #1. We’ll see about #2! So extremely worth it for peace of mind and safety for ourselves and others. Love you!
Elisa Schmitz
Thank you so much, Kathy Ast ! I appreciate your prayers and care. I’m soooo happy that you got your vaccine and had few side effects! And pray for the same for you with shot two. I’m hoping to be back to normal before shot two, in case I get side effects again. Can’t wait to see you soon. Love you!
