Ingredients
Cocktail
- 1.5 ounces Singleton 12 Year Old or your favorite whiskey
- 0.75 ounces fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 ounces cinnamon-infused honey (2:1)
- 0.25 ounces fresh apple cider
- drop of sea salt solution (optional)
- dash of Angostura Bitters
- lemon peel, for garnish
Cinnamon-Infused Honey
- honey
- cinnamon sticks
- water

- You could also garnish with an orange peel.
- This recipe can easily be doubled.
- Store the cinnamon-infused honey in an airtight container in the fridge.
Here's how to make it:
- For the honey, heat 2 parts honey, 1 part water and a cinnamon stick to just below boiling and let simmer for up to 5 minutes. Then let cool and store in refrigerator.
- To make the cocktail, add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker is frosted. Strain over one large ice cube. Express lemon peel over the drink then add as garnish.
