Recipe Notes

  • Add more flour or water, if needed, to get a smooth dough.
  • Use a preheated pizza stone to cook your pizzas on for the crispiest crust.
  • You could use olive oil to grease the bowl instead of butter.

Here's how to make it:

  1. Stir together the water, salt, honey and olive oil in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, stir together the yeast and warm water. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes, then add the honey mixture.
  3. Add the flour, 1 cup at a time, until a dough forms. Put the dough onto a floured work surface. Knead until smooth.
  4. Put the dough into a generously buttered bowl. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into two equal pieces. Roll out and use for your favorite pizza recipes.
