Homemade Guacamole: This 4-Ingredient Recipe Is So Much Better Than Store Bought! by Heather Holter

I love guacamole, but don't like spending a lot on premade dip, and the packets you can add to avocados just isn't the best. I figured out a super easy recipe for my own guacamole. It is amazing! I love this homemade version so much I can eat half of it myself in one sitting!
You'll need:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Morton's Nature's Season seasoning salt or fine sea salt
Here's how to make it:
- Cut avocados in half. Remove pit. Scoop out avocados from skin. Put them in a small mixing bowl.
- Mash avocados with a fork for chunkier guacamole, or whip with an electric hand mixer for smooth creamy guacamole. (I prefer the fork because it is easier, less time consuming and less cleanup.)
- Add spices and lemon juice. Mix with a fork. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve with tortilla chips.
