Ways to Reduce Plastic Waste at Home: Here's a Simple Step Toward Plastic-Free Living by Jan Mostrom

Over the past year I've been trying to take a look at the products I'm buying for my home. Sadly, what I've noticed is all the plastic! There is so much packaging and plastic that even when you want an alternative, it can be hard to find or just overwhelming.

An easy place to start to address our plastic problem in the U.S. is the laundry room. I swapped out the plastic jugs of laundry detergent for these easy detergent sheets. All you need for a load of clothes is one of these all inclusive sheets. And what's even better is that they weigh next to nothing!

So if you want to take a small step toward reducing your plastic use and living a plastic-free life, begin here and see how easy making a difference can be!

I have never heard of detergent sheets! Wow. What a great product. Definitely looking into this, Jan Mostrom . Going to check out the companies you suggested. I started recycling last year. We don't have a program in our neighborhood yet, so I haul bags of recyclables to my parent's house across town and put it in their recycle bin. Crazy. Hoping one day I have my own. :)
