We grill year-round in Texas, but I especially enjoy grilling during the summer months. Grilled pork chops are one of my favorite things to cook on the grill. This sweet and tangy pork chop recipe was inspired by a bottle of apple juice I had in the refrigerator. We're not big apple juice drinkers, but my husband had needed some when he made his smoked brisket. A few tablespoons of the apple juice found its way into the marinade for these juicy grilled pork chops.
This is a quick and easy pork dinner you can prep in the morning and then throw on the grill that evening. You only need five ingredients to these sweet chops: bone-in pork chops, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple juice and Worcestershire sauce. The marinade is a fantastic combination of sweet, tangy and salty, which complements the pork to perfection. The marinade adheres to the pork as you baste it, creating a sticky exterior for the juicy interior. So delicious!
Serve these marinated pork chops for dinner with your favorite side dishes. I served mine with Christina Applegate's mom's scalloped corn and zucchini.

- The cook time will depend on the thickness of your pork chops.
- You can double the recipe for four servings.
Here's how to make it:
- Combine the mustard, brown sugar, apple juice and Worcestershire sauce in a shallow dish or food storage bag. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. Put the pork chops into the marinade and let them sit in the fridge for 1 hour and up to overnight.
- Heat the grill to medium heat. Add the pork chops to the hot grill.
- Cook until the pork is cooked through, basting with the leftover marinade as you cook. The pork is done when it reaches 145 degrees F on a meat thermometer.
