Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
Servings: 9
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semisweet or dark), and a few more for topping.
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Recipe Notes
- I used a 9x7-inch baking pan and dark chocolate chips.
- If you don't have unsalted butter, just use regular butter. (Who doesn't love salted chocolate!)
Here's how to make it:
- Spray an 8x8-inch baking pan or similar-sized pan with cooking spray and preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. In a large, microwave-safe bowl, place the chocolate and butter.
- Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes, mixing every 30 seconds until everything is melted and combined well.
- Stir in the sugar and then the eggs, one at a time, mixing well with a fork or spoon.
- Add the cocoa powder and thoroughly combine.
- Spread the batter into the pan.
- Sprinkle with a few more chocolate chips, if desired.
- Bake for for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Be sure not to over-bake!
- Remove to cool for 30 minutes before cutting and serving.
