This Apple Cider Moscow Mule Cocktail Recipe Has All the Holiday Feels

I love to have one or two signature cocktails to make when we have guests over. This delicious take on Moscow mules is one of my new favorite cocktail recipes. This festive and easy apple cider cocktail is simple to make and so fresh and tasty, you’ll want to serve them at your next party!

To make this fall-inspired Moscow mule you will need fresh apple cider (see Recipe Notes), vodka, fresh lime juice (fresh is best!), ice, ginger beer and optional apple slices and cinnamon sticks for garnishing. Make these cocktails one at a time, or increase the recipe and make a batch for large gatherings. Cheers!

Recipe Notes

  • You can substitute your favorite alcohol if you prefer. I love a mule with tequila or vodka.
  • Make sure you do NOT use apple cider vinegar. Buy a half gallon of cider in the produce department of your local grocery.
  • Make a non-alcoholic version by omitting the alcohol and adding a bit more ginger beer.

Here's how to make it:

  1. Measure cider, vodka and lime juice into a Moscow mule mug or glass.
  2. Add ginger beer and ice, stirring to mix well.
  3. Garnish with cinnamon stick and apple slices, if desired, and enjoy!
