Creamy Sweet Potato Fries Dipping Sauce Recipe: Who Knew? by Donna John
Who doesn't love dipping their french fries into a dipping sauce? I know I do! I would have a dozen dips for my fries, from ranch to spicy ketchup to fry sauce to Cajun dipping sauce. But what about those sweet potato fries? Generally, I don't dip my sweet potatoes fries into anything. But why not? That's when I discovered this creamy sweet potato fries dipping sauce recipe.
The sauce is made with mayonnaise, lime juice, chipotle chili powder, regular chili powder, paprika, ground cumin and garlic powder. Lots of flavors going on, and they all complement the sweetness of the sweet potato perfectly. Spicy sweet heat. Be sure to make the sauce at least one hour before serving so the flavors can meld together. Store the mayonnaise-based dipping sauce in an airtight container for up to one week.
Sweet potato fries have a lot more nutrition in them than regular french fries, so they're a good option for a healthier diet. Serve sweet potato fries with this creamy dip as a side dish with dinner or as an appetizer.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

- Whisk together all the ingredients in a bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
