- 2 thick-cut pork chops
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 lemon, cut into slices
Here's how to make it:
- Season the pork chops with salt, pepper and the smoked paprika. Be generous with the paprika!
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Add the pork chops and cook until well browned on one side. Flip the chops over and move to one side of the pan. Add the lemon slices to the other side.
- Put the butter into the pan. Continue to cook the chops over medium heat, basting with the melted butter, until cooked to desired doneness. Flip the lemon slices over occasionally until soft and beginning to brown. Serve the pork chops with the lemon slices.
