White Wine Spritzer Recipe: A Book Club’s Signature Drink Is Summer’s Most Refreshing Cocktail

My book club has been together since 2016. I can’t believe it’s been over six years! We’ve met at each other’s homes, at restaurants and, during COVID, via Zoom. While we all enjoy reading and discussing books, I’m most grateful for our friendships.

When we meet at someone’s home, we do a potluck style buffet, with everyone bringing a dessert, appetizer, cocktail or beverage to share. I have brought a wine spritzer several times and it’s always a hit, especially during the summer. I’ve modified and honed the white wine spritzer recipe over the years and am finally completely happy with it. Made with just a few ingredients, it’s easy, relatively inexpensive, refreshing and pretty, too! It can also be made in advance and be made alcohol-free.

Cuisine: European
Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 0 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 4 to 6 glasses

  • 3 cups chilled Moscato wine
  • 3 cups refrigerated Sprite
  • 2 cups refrigerated raspberry-flavored lemonade
  • 1 pint raspberries (divided)
  • 1 lime, sliced

Here's how to make it:

  1. Pour the chilled wine, Sprite and lemonade into a pitcher and stir. Add half the pint of raspberries to the pitcher.
  2. Pour into glasses and garnish with raspberries and lime slices, if desired.

Note: To make this a virgin cocktail, use 4 cups of Sprite and 4 cups of raspberry flavored lemonade.
