I recently had a creamsicle float and it took me back to my childhood. It was just as good as I remembered.
It had me thinking – this would make a great cocktail recipe! How refreshing, sweet and delicious, the perfect summer cocktail (OK, dessert cocktail). I hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka
- 0.5 ounces orange liqueur (I used Triple Sec)
- 4 ounces orange juice
- 3/4 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1/4 cup orange sherbet
- 2 ice cubes
- orange soda, chilled
- orange slices (optional)
- whipped cream (optional)
Here's how to make it:
- Combine ingredients.
- Garnish with orange slices and/or whipped cream, if desired.
