How to Make Fresh Peach Puree: A Must-Have Ingredient for Summer Cocktails & Desserts

Peach puree can be used in cocktails (check out the recipe Elisa All Schmitz shared for her Summer Bellini Cocktail!), desserts and even as a topping for pancakesbiscuits or waffles. The sugar is optional because sometimes peaches are so sweet it's not needed. Taste your peaches and decide for yourself.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peeled and chopped peaches
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)

Here’s how to make it:

  1. Put peaches, water and sugar (if using) into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate until ready to use or spoon into ice cube trays and freeze.
