Refreshing 5-Minute Orange Dijon Vinaigrette Recipe Tastes Like Summer by Donna John

Refreshing 5-Minute Orange Dijon Vinaigrette Recipe Tastes Like Summer

Shake things up with this tangy, refreshing orange Dijon salad dressing recipe. If lemon vinaigrette is so darn good, why can't orange join in the fun?

This easy six-ingredient orange Dijon vinaigrette salad dressing is made with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, plain Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, honey and orange juice. The ingredients are put into a jar with a lid and shaken to emulsify. Season with a little salt and pepper, too. You could also whisk the ingredients together in a bowl.

Pour this refreshing orange vinaigrette over salad greens, spinach salad or pasta salad. Heck, it would even be a great marinade for chicken, shrimp or fish. If you're a poppy seed kind of person, throw some in. Why not? Any citrus could be used to change the flavor. Grapefruit, tangerine or mandarins would make for an interesting salad dressing. Store the leftover salad dressing in a salad dressing cruet or airtight container in the refrigerator.

I had some of this dressing leftover, so after I cooked some baby carrots, I poured some of it over them and continued to cook until it "glazed" them. They were so good! Love this versatile dressing!
