Hiring a Nanny? Parents, Here Are 4 Qualities of a Good Professional Nanny

Hiring a nanny to care for your children is one of the most important decisions you will make. When hiring a nanny, look for the following:

  • Nurturing: A nanny should love their career and be able to share great experiences with your kids. A nanny's love will shine through.
  • Similar Morals and Values: Kids learn by example and pick up manners and behavior from people they're around most. Hiring a nanny with similar morals and values as you will maintain consistency for your kids.
  • Philosophy: A childcare philosophy that matches your own is extremely important for the parent/nanny relationship to work.
  • Reliable: Parents need to know that they can depend on their kids' nanny.

Good luck!
