Low self-worth leads to trying pleasing others and losing yourself. It causes insecurities, unhealthy lifestyle and habits, over-sensitivity, arguments and depending on others or things to make you feel better about yourself. 

  • Make a list of the qualities you love about yourself.
  • Forgive yourself for weaknesses or mistakes.
  • Use them to grow and learn from. 

You are the longest friend and potentially best friend you will ever have. If you don't value yourself it's more difficult for others to persuade you of your value. It's also less likely that people will value you.
