Adolescent Depression: Stress Affects Everyone in the House, Even Kids! Mental Health

Kids' and teens' depression is real, and its major contributor is low tolerance to stress. Stress creates a strong demand on the nervous system, which greatly affects the general outlook of a person when it comes to different things. When stress becomes unmanageable in young people, it can result in a deep-set depression. 

On the outside, depression in teens and kids can result in acting out behaviors and irritability, which can cause a nervous breakdown. Make sure your kids have a healthy outlet with sports, social gatherings, hobbies, events, etc., to try and minimize the impact of stress.
