Acupuncture: How This Holistic Health Technique Helps Ease Aches & Pains

For my family, I seek alternative medicine before traditional methods and medications for non-life threatening conditions like aches and pains. Through the years, I've experienced minor injuries that are more annoying than debilitating. Recently, I started receiving acupuncture.

Acupuncture is so relaxing! My qualified practitioner gently places thin, sterilized needles in my body to relieve my specific pain. As tranquil music plays in the background, I lay quietly under warm lights. It eases my pain so I can function better. Best of all, there are no side effects! It’s the best part of this busy mom's day!

Have you tried acupuncture? What did you think?

I have tried acupuncture and it did help me. But then I had a different practitioner, and something weird happened where afterward, I was completely exhausted and couldn't move. So I haven't done it since then. I always wonder what happened and if I should try it again. Thanks for the tip, Mindy Hudon, M.S., CCC-SLP !
