Wakeout App: How to Use Your Bed As a Gym for Baby Steps to Fitness by Jessica L. Williams
As the new year comes in, a lot of us make resolutions around getting in shape, or moving more or losing 10 pounds. For me, I wanted to integrate more fitness into my day.
I found a way to do that with the Wakeout app. Wakeout helps you turn your bed into a gym by giving you three exercises you can do in your bed or on the side of your bed in your pajamas. In less than three minutes you can add a little fitness to your day. You get a mix of three exercises ranging from jumping jacks to pillow lunges.
I’ve been using it for two weeks straight and I love it. I set the Wakeout to start at 6:15 a.m. right after my alarm goes off. Then I do my workout, make my bed and continue with my morning. This way, by the time I am showered and dressed for the day, I feel like I got something done. Baby steps for sure, but I feel like it's a great start.
