With the extra demands of the holidays and winter break, many moms feel more stress and less joy. These tools will help make the holidays not only survivable, but enjoyable, for you and your family!
- Put YOU on the list! Schedule even 10 minutes a day to meditate, take a bath or walk to remind you that your health and happiness are the best gifts you can give to your family!
- Set BOUNDARIES. Give yourself permission to say no. Pick the activities that work for you and your family, and let go of the guilt. Quality over quantity will reduce stress and add joy!
- Seek out JOY and GRATITUDE! Establish meaningful and fun family traditions like volunteering at a food shelf or donating toys to kids in need. Plan family activities like ice skating or going to a movie in your pajamas.
