Chicken In a Hurry Recipe: Chicken Hurry Is a Vintage Recipe From Grandma by 30Seconds Food
We love finding vintage recipes that have been handed down over the years from generation to generation. Chicken in a hurry (aka hurry chicken) is one old-fashioned recipe that many remember their grandmas and moms making on busy nights or when the wallet needed watching. This classic chicken in a hurry recipe has only five simple ingredients (four if you don't count water) and minimal prep work.
To make this baked chicken recipe you will need brown sugar, ketchup, water, dry onion soup mix and chicken. This recipe is very versatile when it comes to the type of chicken used. You can go boneless or bone-in, but keep in mind it will affect baking time.
Serve this sweet, saucy budget-friendly baked chicken for dinner with your favorite side dishes. Keep it traditional with sweet corn, green peas, rice or mashed potatoes. You can even use chicken drumettes and flats and serve them as an appetizer.
