Crispy "Everything But the Bagel" Seasoned Roasted Potatoes Recipe (3 Ingredients) by Elisa Schmitz

Crispy "Everything But the Bagel" Seasoned Roasted Potatoes Recipe (3 Ingredients)

If you're looking for a side dish that everyone loves, you really can't beat roasted potatoes. Whether folks eat the roasted potatoes on their own or dunk them into their favorite dipping sauces, most everyone enjoys sinking their teeth into a pile of crispy potato wedges.

That's why I decided to make a pan of crispy roasted potatoes for our latest family get-together. These savory three-ingredient baked potato wedges were so easy to make and, thanks to my latest discovery at Trader Joe's, they were incredibly delicious. The discovery? Everything But the Bagel Seasoning Blend.

What's Everything But the Bagel seasoning? Here's how Trader Joe's describes it: "This is the only Everything Seasoning you’ll ever need for decorating and yummifying the tops of bagels – but that’s not everything. This simple (yet exemplary) blend of sesame seeds (white and black), poppy seeds, dried garlic and onion, and sea salt flakes is all you need for bringing that crunchy, roasted, savory flavor to grilled chicken, buttered popcorn, baked potatoes, creamy dips, pizza dough, salad dressings, pasta, mac and cheese or panko-breaded anything."

If it sounds amazing to you, you're spot on. And, this seasoning blend is definitely not just for bagels. I've used it in dips, on vegetables and most recently, in this roasted potatoes recipe. Everyone loved it on the potatoes!

To make these tasty potatoes wedges, you will need three simple ingredients: potatoes, extra virgin olive oil and Everything But the Bagel Seasoning Blend. You coat the potatoes in the olive oil and seasoning then roast them until they're crispy and golden. Easy peasy!

Serve these gluten-free potatoes as a side dish with your favorite dinners. Or, serve them as an appetizer or a snack with your favorite dipping sauces. I served them with ham and roasted veggies for a meal that disappeared fast.

Recipe Notes

  • You can add more or less seasoning, depending on how much flavor you want.
  • I used fingerling potatoes, but this recipe would work well with small Yukon gold, marble or red potatoes.
  • Store leftovers in a container in the refrigerator and reheat in the oven for maximum crispiness.

Here's how to make it:

  1. Pour the sliced potatoes into a 13x9-inch baking pan or casserole dish, ensuring they are evenly distributed. Add the olive oil and seasoning. Stir to blend, ensuring the potatoes are evenly coated and distributed in the pan.
  2. Bake in a preheated 425-degree F oven for about 50 to 55 minutes, stirring a couple of times during baking to ensure even browning, until crispy and golden.
  3. Remove from oven and serve as a side dish or as an appetizer with your favorite dipping sauces.
