Recipe Notes
- If you don’t have a food processor, combine ingredients and mix in a medium-size mixing bowl. Cut the butter into the flour mixture with a pastry cutter or knife and then your hands, if necessary.
- I had all the herbs on hand listed above, but feel free to use what you have to mix up the taste every time you make them.
Here's how to make it:
- Put the flour, garlic powder, salt and baking powder into a food processor. Pulse for about 10 seconds to combine.
- Add the cold butter pieces to food processor and pulse until it is mostly combined.
- Add the herbs and then drizzle in milk, a little at a time. Pulse until mixture becomes a dough. (You don’t want to over-mix the dough because it will make the biscuits tough. I used a scraper and clean hands to mix in all the flour left on the sides.)
- Use a spoon to drop six large dough pieces onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 400-degree F oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown. Melt the 2 tablespoons of butter and brush or drizzle over warm rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy!
