The shopping list is short and sweet: angel hair pasta, butter, olive oil, garlic, shrimp, lemons and fresh parsley. While the pasta boils, cook the garlic until fragrant, then toss in the shrimp. Once they turn pink, which happens fast, add the lemon zest and juice. Last, but definitely not least, is the cooked angel hair and fresh parsley.

- If you bought shrimp with heads on, carefully remove the head (some recipes do call for shrimp with heads on).
- Remove the legs and shell.

- 12 ounces angel hair pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 pounds uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley

Here's how to make it:
- Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the pasta boils, heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Add the shrimp. Season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, for about 2 to 3 minutes or until shrimp are just cooked through.
- Add the lemon zest and lemon juice. Stir.
- Add the cooked pasta and parsley. Toss to coat. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
