This creamy ranch dressing recipe is made with high-protein Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. For this homemade salad dressing you'll need plain Greek yogurt, buttermilk, parsley flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, fresh chives (or dried work, too), Dijon mustard and fresh lemon juice. Use this gluten-free ranch dressing on salads, in pasta salads, drizzled on burgers, chicken or fish, or as a dip for fried appetizers like chicken nuggets, fried mushrooms, onion rings or fried green tomatoes, or on a vegetable tray. Store the salad dressing in an airtight container or jar for up to one week.

Ingredients
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon fresh minced chives or dried chives
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Here's how to make it:
- Whisk together all the ingredients. Season with salt and black pepper. (Adjust the amount of seasonings to suit your tastes.)
- Pour into a salad dressing cruet, mason jar or airtight container. Refrigerate until ready to serve. The salad dressing will stay fresh up to four days in the fridge.
