- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons fresh minced basil

- 1 teaspoon minced fresh oregano
- 2 - 3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed (buy a garlic press)
- crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

- Combine all the ingredients. Mix well. If you have time, it's best to allow the dipping oil to sit for about 1 hour for the flavors to meld.
