Macaroni and cheese in the air fryer? Yep! This easy air fryer macaroni and cheese recipe is yet another way to use that air fryer.
To make this creamy air-fried mac and cheese you'll need elbow macaroni, shredded cheddar cheese, whole milk, heavy cream, butter and ground mustard. The ingredients are mixed together in a square baking pan and then air fried for about 20 to 25 minutes. Stir and sit down to a plate of cheesy macaroni and cheese that required minimal effort or prep.
Do not cook the pasta beforehand β it goes in uncooked. For the creamiest mac and cheese, shred the cheese yourself instead of buying it pre-shredded. Serve this macaroni and cheese for lunch or as a side dish with dinner.
