- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- dash of salt
- 3 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
