Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- taco shells, corn tortillas or flour tortillas
Optional Toppings
- guacamole, sliced avocado or grilled avocado
- shredded lettuce
- shredded cheese
- pico de gallo
- salsa, tomatillo salsa or cayenne chili oil
- fresh chopped cilantro
- chopped tomatoes
- sour cream
Here's how to make them:
- Combine the ground beef, cilantro, onion, egg, bread crumbs, cumin, chili powder and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Mix well.
- Form into meatballs and place on a baking sheet that's been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
- Bake in a preheated 375-degree F oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through. Serve on taco shells or tortillas with desired toppings.
