To make this flavorful sausage and vegetable recipe you will need just four ingredients. Here is your short, budget-friendly shopping list: smoked sausage, broccoli, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. The ingredients cook up on the stovetop in about 10 minutes.

  • 12 - 16 ounces (1 package) smoked sausage, cut into circles
  • 3 - 4 cups chopped broccoli florets
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • garlic powder (optional)

  1. Cook the sausage in a  Dutch ovenskillet or wok until browned.
  2. Add the vegetables and cook until crisp-tender.
  3. Stir in a 1/2 cup of the grated Parmesan and season with garlic powder, if using, and salt and pepper, to taste. Serve over rice with the remaining grated Parmesan.
