The vegetarian ingredients are fresh, wholesome and gluten-free. Here is your short shopping list to make this restaurant guacamole recipe: avocados, limes for juicing, fresh cilantro, red onion, jalapenos and kosher salt. The avocados are mashed then stirred together with the other ingredients. Such a fresh, simple and easy snack!

Ingredients
- 2 ripe Hass avocados
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 diced jalapeño, including seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Here’s how to make it:
- Cut avocados in half and remove pits. (Be sure to use ripe avocados.)
- Scoop the avocados into a bowl.
- Toss and coat with lime juice.
- Add the salt and mash until it's a smooth consistency.
- Fold in remaining ingredients and mix. (Stir in some chopped tomatoes, if desired.)
- Taste the guacamole and adjust seasoning, if necessary. This guacamole recipe can easily be doubled or tripled for parties and get-together. Guacamole is best eaten right away.
