Recipe Notes

  • Instead of ground beef try this layered Mexican dip recipe with ground turkey.
  • To add some heat, sprinkle on some fresh chopped jalapenos.
  • The measurements are just a guide. Add as much or little of each ingredient as desired.

Here's how to make it:

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Add the taco seasoning and cook according to package directions. Allow to cool.
  2. If making homemade refried beans, prepare and set aside to cool.
  3. Prepare your guacamole. Set aside.
  4. To assemble the dip, spread the refried beans on the bottom of a casserole dishtrifle bowl or individual ramekins or dessert cups. Then layer the remaining ingredients in the order listed. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve with tortilla chips.
