Recipe Notes

  • The number of cookies will depend on how much batter you use for each cookie.
  • If you want these cookies to be gluten-free, use gluten-free flour. Oats are naturally gluten-free, but to be sure, check the packages you buy.

Here's how to make them:

  1. Whisk the flour, baking soda and salt together in a bowl.
  2. In a another bowl, beat butter until smooth, about 1 minute. Add the brown sugar and beat for 2 minutes. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
  4. Drop in circles onto cookie sheets and bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
