Since I suffer from a chronic illness, I have searched out recipes to help me spice up my meals while helping to kick my body into combating inflammation. Here's a really simple recipe for turmeric eggs that I enjoy often for breakfast. Turmeric is rich in a compound called curcumin, which some studies suggest can help manage oxidative and inflammatory conditions. Nutritional yeast has health benefits, as it contains protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. 

As always, check with your physician when adding herbs to your diet.

  1. Scramble the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
