How to Make Homemade Cranberry Sauce (No Cans Involved)! by Donna John
I have nothing against that jellied cranberry sauce in the can, but if you want to up the ante this Thanksgiving make homemade cranberry sauce. It couldn’t be any easier!
- 1 bag (12 ounces) fresh cranberries, rinsed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Here's how to make it:
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. (The cranberries will start to pop open.)
- Cool completely then put in the fridge to chill.
