3-Ingredient Sausage Mummy Recipe Are the Perfect Guests for Halloween Dinner

What can you make with sausage links (or hot dogs), a tube of crescent rolls and some edible eyes? A spooky simple Halloween dinner, snack or appetizer

Use them to make these fun sausage mummies for your Halloween dinner or party. They're ready in less than 20 minutes.

Cuisine: American
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Total Time: 18 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 package sausage links or hot dogs
  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • edible eyes

Here’s how you make them:

  1. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a cutting board and seal perforations.
  2. Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut thin strips of the dough.
  3. Wrap the dough around the sausage to create the mummy.
  4. Place them on a cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 375 degrees F until dough is lightly browned, about 6 to 8 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and add eyes.

Note: To make them even spookier, squirt ketchup on the mummies to look like blood. Don’t have edible eyes? You could use cheese and a dab of ketchup. Not a fan of hot dogs or sausage? Use three pre-cooked meatballs instead and serve with marinara sauce.
