Sometimes you just need a little chocolate in your life – even when you're trying hard to eat healthier. Eating something rich and chocolatey doesn't have to include added sugars, flour, dairy or eggs. Truth! These dense, rich three-ingredient fudge bombs will satisfying that chocolate craving with healthier ingredients (and no refined sugar).
I call these gluten-free, high-fiber and high-protein chocolate treats banana fudge bombs because they don't rise enough to qualify, in my opinion, as a muffin or a cupcake. But who cares what they're called? I call them a rich delicious snack or dessert that I don't feel guilty eating. To make these healthy chocolate snacks you will need ripe bananas, creamy peanut butter and cocoa powder. Mix the ingredients, put into muffin tins and bake. In no time you'll be snacking on what tastes like a guilty pleasure.

Ingredients
- 3 large ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Here's how to make it:
- Mash the banana in a mixing bowl.
- Add the peanut butter and cocoa powder. You could use whatever creamy nut butter you like for this recipe. I used peanut butter.
- Mix well.
- Fill muffin tins lined with baking liners 2/3 full with the batter (I got 10).
- Bake in a preheated 350-degree F oven for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Do not overbake! Mine took about 20 minutes in the oven, but ovens vary.
- Let them cool before removing from the baking liners. Store the chocolate bombs in an airtight container on the counter.
