I don't know about you, but I hate spending money on things that I can do for myself. So when I noticed that my daughter's drain was running slowly, and she has really long hair, I just grabbed this a plastic snake tool that I bought at the hardware store for less than $10. It is simply a plastic strip with jagged edges.
Here's how to use it to unclog a drain:
- Unscrew the top of the drain.
- Stick the plastic strip down into the drain.
- Pull out all the hair and gunk that's sticking in the drain.
It's not nice, it's kind of disgusting, actually, but it saves you a lot of money. Then maybe you can buy yourself a pair of shoes instead of paying a plumber!
