Women Tech Founders: 30Seconds' Elisa All Schmitz Nominated for 2017 Midwest Women In Tech Award! Vote Today!

30Seconds has some exciting news to share. Women Tech Founders is hosting its 2017 Midwest Women In Tech Awards, and we’re thrilled to say that their committee has nominated Elisa All Schmitz for its Media and Marketing award! The following criteria were used during the nomination process to determine the six nominees:

  • Considered a leader in the field.
  • Authentic leader.
  • Furthers other women.
  • Gives back to the community.

“I'm honored that they selected me along with five other women who they feel ‘best demonstrate excellence in this award category,’” says Elisa All Schmitz, founder and CEO of 30Seconds.

Now that they have selected the nominees, Women Tech Founders (WTF) is opening it up to a public vote: "Make your voices heard. Vote and spread the word to strengthen all of us," WTF states. Note: You can only vote once per category.

We at 30Seconds humbly and gratefully ask for your vote to help propel our company to the level of Award Winner. Please take 30 seconds (natch) to vote for us, and please share with your networks and ask them to do the same. The awards ceremony event will be held on Thursday, November 9, at 5 p.m., at the Lakewood Chicago.

“Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for voting for me – not just by clicking on this ballot, but by believing in the 30Seconds mission, sharing your wonderful stories and helping to spread the word about how we make a positive difference in the world," Elisa says. "I appreciate all of your efforts to make 30Seconds grow and thrive. We are so much stronger together than we are on our own. Thank you for being part of our incredible tribe. It wouldn't be the same without you!”

Other amazing women with 30Seconds ties have been nominated as well. 30Seconds tribe member Christina Marshall-Valdez, founder and CEO of Elu, a made-to-measure apparel brand for plus-size women, is nominated in the Glamtech category. Katy Lynch, co-founder of Codeverse, the world’s first fully interactive coding studio for kids, is nominated in the Emerging Startup category. We also congratulate our fellow WiSTEM Cohort 2 members at 1871 Chicago for being nominated:

We congratulate all the nominees and thank them for their leadership. Please show your support for these female founders by voting today!
