New Year's Resolutions Reboot: 3 Tips to Help You Get Back on Track! Mindfulness

Have you fallen off the resolution wagon? Here are some tips to help you reboot:

  • Understand and Accept That Discomfort Is a Catalyst for Growth: Making changes is often awkward, difficult and uncomfortable. We don’t like leaving our comfort zones or forming new habits, even if it’s for our own good.
  • Keep Your Gratitude Higher Than Your Expectations: When you’re unhappy, frustrated, sad or disappointed, it is usually because your expectations and reality are out of alignment. On the other hand, being grateful for your successes, no matter how small, will help you to stay on track.
  • Journal Your Thoughts: Change takes place in repetitive small fragments over time. Make it a daily habit to monitor and note your progress to slowly etch these changes into your brain.

Good luck to you!
