Summer Exercise: 3 Family Workouts That Don’t Feel Like Work!

It’s easy to become a couch potato over the summer. Luckily, there are so many fun summer activities that can also incorporate the daily exercise your body needs. Is it actually working out if you’re having fun doing it?

  • Swim: Enjoy a dip in the pool, lake or ocean. Make sure to submerge your back to cool off. Doing so helps to regulate your core temperature and prevent exhaustion. 
  • Ride: Biking, paddleboarding, kayaking, you name it. All of these whole-body, outdoor activities will help kick you into shape! 
  • Walk: Find a new trail, explore your local park or take the whole family for an after-dinner walk around the neighborhood when the temperatures begin to drop.
