You can't go wrong with scrambled eggs for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even dinner. For me, scrambled eggs need to be soft and creamy, and I've tried many scrambled egg recipes to achieve that goal, with success. Some of my favorites are mayonnaise scrambled eggs, José Andrés eggs and Elisa's creamy spinach scrambled eggs. Now I've added another scrambled egg recipe to the list: cream scrambled eggs. This egg recipe takes creaminess to the next level. I have cracked the creaminess code!
These scrambled eggs cook low and slow (for an egg) and are fluffy, creamy and almost melt in your mouth. Here is what you need to make this high-protein recipe right now: eggs, heavy cream or milk and butter. The eggs take about six to eight minutes in a nonstick (important!) skillet. Scrambled eggs are delicious for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner, or even as a high-protein snack during the day to get your energy back up. You can add some fresh fruit or your favorite breakfast side dishes to round out the meal.

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (or milk)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Here's how to make it:
- Crack the eggs into a bowl. Season with a little salt, if desired.
- Pour in the cream. Gently whisk until just combined.
- Heat the butter over low heat in a nonstick skillet.
- Pour in the eggs. Let them sit a minute over low heat.
- Gently put them from the edges to the center.
- Continue cooking over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are just set and still soft, about 6 to 8 minutes.
- Serve immediately. Season with salt and black pepper, if desired. (I like to garnish with fresh dill.)
