I like this honey orange salmon recipe even more than the honey lemon version, and that's saying a lot. The sweetness of honey combines with the bright citrus notes of orange juice and the distinct flavor of Dijon mustard to create an irresistibly moist and savory seafood dinner that you will crave. Bonus: it's ready in only about 20 minutes!

Recipe Notes

• I squeezed my own fresh orange juice, but you can use bottled fresh-squeezed orange juice in a pinch.

• Feel free to use more or less Dijon mustard, depending on your tastes.

• Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Any leftover salmon tastes great in this easy salmon spread recipe.

Here's how to make it:

1. Place the salmon filet in a casserole dish or baking pan (I lined mine with aluminum foil for easier cleanup). Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
   
2. In a small mixing bowl or measuring cup, add the honey, orange juice and mustard. Stir to combine and create the sauce.
   
3. Pour the sauce over the salmon, ensuring the salmon is covered in the sauce.
   
   
4. Bake the salmon at 375 degrees F for about 15 minutes, or until desired doneness. Salmon is done when it reaches 145 degrees F on a food thermometer.
   
5. Remove from oven and serve with your favorite vegetables or side dishes.
