This 4-Ingredient Shortcut Garlic Aioli Recipe Will Take You Straight to Flavortown

Sometimes you just need a ticket to flavortown, and you need it right now. This easy four-ingredient shortcut garlic aioli recipe gives just about everything that extra boost of flavor you crave – in only about five minutes.

Whether it's the flavor or the fun, dipping foods into a creamy sauce makes it taste so much better. This shortcut vegetarian aioli dip recipe adds both flavor and fun to appetizers, snacks or meals any time of day. Here's your short shopping list: mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice and roasted garlic powder. You simply mix the ingredients then head straight to flavortown!

  • I prefer to use fresh-squeezed lemon juice, but you can use bottled lemon juice, if needed.
  • To lighten things up, use light or reduced-fat mayonnaise. (I used Hellman's Light Mayonnaise.)
  • You can use minced garlic instead of garlic powder.
  • Feel free to use more or less garlic powder, depending on how strong you want the flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Here's how to make it:

  1. In a bowl or ramekin, add the mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice and garlic powder. Mix until well blended.
  2. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
