Creamy Pumpkin Pie Spice Smoothie Recipe Is High-Protein Fall Sippin' (5 Ingredients, 5 Minutes) by Ann Marie G. Halstead
I am not a morning person. I am a night owl and always have been. I wake up pleasant enough, but it takes me a while to get moving. It helps if I have something to look forward to, like what I’m doing that day or even what I’m having for breakfast. On those days I tend to move a little more quickly.
I’m also someone who could easily skip breakfast. I don’t wake up hungry and don’t like a lot of traditional breakfast foods. There are some exceptions, however. I love waffles with berries and whipped cream (who doesn't?), yogurt parfaits and smoothies. That’s about it.

I’m always on the lookout for a new smoothie recipe. This pumpkin pie spice smoothie recipe happens to be the perfect fall recipe. If you’re a pumpkin spice lover, this is the smoothie for you! And you don’t even have to eat it for breakfast; it will taste just as good at any other time of day. Bonus: you can save money by skipping the beverage drive-thru and you get the health benefits of pumpkin and the health benefits of banana!
You can pre-freeze the pumpkin puree by dividing 1 can (15 ounces) into an ice cube tray and freezing. You’ll have enough to fill more than one tray but you won’t need another. You can use store-bought pumpkin pie spice or make this homemade pumpkin pie spice recipe.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt (not plain)

- 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (or to taste)

Here’s how to make it:
