Summer Peach Smoothie Recipe: Change Up Your Snack or Breakfast Game

Confession: I am not great at eating three regular meals at consistent times. I don’t wake up hungry so I often skip breakfast, and usually eat lunch at a different time every day. I’d like to work on this, but I know it won’t be easy.

I think my best bet is to make breakfast interesting, simple and hard to resist. I love smoothies, so I’ve been reviewing smoothie recipes that I can make with almond milk. This recipe for a peach smoothie is perfect. It includes almond milk and other yummy ingredients, such as yogurt, honey and peaches, either fresh or frozen. No protein powder required.

One of the best parts of this peach smoothie recipe is that I can make it in under five minutes! It’s a great combination of sweet, creamy and delicious. If you like this smoothie recipe, try this sweet peach cobbler smoothie. Delish!

  • 3 cups sliced peaches (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk (frozen in an ice cube tray)
  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • When peaches are in season, I recommend using fresh peaches. When they’re out of season, frozen will work just fine.
  • Freezing the almond milk in ice cube trays is a game changer!

Here's how to make it: 

  1. In advance, freeze 1 cup of almond milk in an ice cube tray. 
  2. Once frozen, blend the “milk cubes” and other ingredients together in a blender until you reach your desired consistency. Serve and enjoy!
